How do I request a letter of recommendation?

To request a letter of recommendation, you must be a fully inducted member of the NSLS. Once you've completed the Steps to Induction, you can access the Letters of Recommendation feature in the Members Area. To navigate there, click the link above or:

  1. Log in to the Members Area. 
  2. Navigate to the Credentials Hub located on the left-hand side of the menu. 
  3. Click on the 'Letter of Recommendation' option. 
  4. Choose the type of letter you need - whether it's for job searching, graduate school applications, or a general recommendation. 
  5. You can download a free digital copy instantly. If you prefer, the National Office can also send an original, hand-signed copy of the letter directly to the recipient via first-class US mail. This letter will be printed on high-quality paper and hand-embossed with the National Office's official seal. There is a nominal fee of $6.00 for this service.
