What if I cannot attend an event?

While we encourage you to prioritize your chapter events to stay on track in completing your Steps to Induction, we understand that sometimes that is not always possible. 

If you cannot make it to an event, there are usually make-up events hosted by your chapter to help you complete steps you may have missed. These events are hosted and scheduled by your chapter, so please reach out to your local Chapter Leaders to obtain more information about make-up events and how to participate. 

To contact your Chapter Leaders:

  1. Log into the Members Area:
    • Visit nsls.org and log in to your Members Area.
    • The names of your Chapter Advisor or Student President are hyperlinked at the top of the page.
  2. Send an Email:
    • Click on the names of your Chapter Advisor or Student President to email them directly.
    • Allow 1-2 business days for your chapter leaders to respond to your inquiry.
  3. Check Your NSLS Inbox:
    • All members have an NSLS inbox located in the Members Area, where important announcements and notifications are sent.
    • Regularly check your inbox for updates and messages from your chapter leaders.
    • Verify in your Member Profile that you have selected the box to receive Member Communication to ensure you receive all local chapter and National Office communication.
