What’s the Difference Between Certificate and Credit-Recommended Courses? Which Should I Choose?

As a member of the NSLS, you have two pathways for completing programs: one awards a certificate of completion, while the other is credit-recommended and may enable you to transfer college credits to your school, subject to your school's requirements.

If you're enrolling only for personal growth and professional development, choose the certificate pathway option. If you are interested in earning college credit recommendations, choose the credit-recommended pathway option. This applies to programs such as the Foundations of Leadership (FOL), Advanced Leadership, and Executive Leadership.

The transferability of coursework completed at The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) is at the discretion of the receiving institution or educational institution. Members considering transferring NSLS coursework to any institution should not assume that NSLS credit recommendations, coursework, and/or certificates earned in any NSLS programs will be accepted by the receiving institution.

The NSLS encourages members to seek pre-approval and/or consult the transfer center or registrar's office of the receiving institution prior to enrolling into NSLS programs.
