  2. Being Invited to Join the NSLS

Why was I invited to join the NSLS?

Local chapter leaders carefully determine the nomination criteria for NSLS membership, evaluating factors such as GPA and demonstrated leadership qualities. Your nomination signifies that you've already distinguished yourself among your peers and are recognized as a standout student on your campus.

It's important to note that most chapters nominate less than 5 percent of the student population, making your nomination a truly special and exclusive recognition.

While receiving an invitation is an achievement in and of itself, it's just the beginning of your journey with the NSLS. To fully realize the benefits of membership and achieve induction into our society, you'll need to complete our comprehensive leadership program requirements.

If you have any questions about the nomination criteria or would like further information about the invitation process, we encourage you to contact your Chapter Advisor. Their contact information is conveniently located on the inside of your invitation, on the right-hand side toward the bottom of the page.

We're thrilled to welcome you to the NSLS community and are excited to be a part of your journey towards personal and professional growth.
