Your school does not have an NSLS chapter yet. You can be the reason it does. Point us toward the right person on campus, make one introduction, and a member of our team takes the conversation from there.

What this actually involves

• Point us to the right person. Someone in Career Services, Student Affairs, Academic Advising or TRIO.
• Make the introduction. One email, using wording we write for you.
• We take the meeting. You are welcome to join, but you never have to pitch or present.

What you earn, and when

• When you take your first call: full NSLS membership, including the Foundations of Leadership program.
• When the campus meeting is booked: Advanced and Executive Level Courses, plus credit-recommended coursework.
• When your chapter launches: an invitation to the national Summit, and recognition as a Founding Leader of your chapter.

This is a volunteer leadership role. There is no stipend and no payment, and we would rather say that plainly up front than have you find out on a call.

The ask is small

A few weeks, not a semester. Most of the work is a handful of emails and one meeting. There is an optional 30-minute check-in every other week, and optional means optional. No GPA bar, no student organisation to start, and you do not need to be an NSLS member already.

How applying works

• A short form. Your name, your school, and how you heard about us. About three minutes.
• A recorded introduction. Four short questions, six minutes in total, recorded whenever suits you. You get three attempts at each one, so a stumble costs you nothing.
• A conversation. If it is a fit, someone from our team books 15 minutes to talk through your campus.

Graduating soon is not a problem. If you make the introduction before you leave, you have done the part that matters.
