What is the refund policy?

The NSLS has generous refund policies in place to help meet your needs. The refund policy is determined by your purchase. Here is a breakdown of each policy:

  • NSLS Membership Refund Policy: You may refund your NSLS membership within the first 30 days of accepting your nomination. However, if your cancellation is due to time constraints, we encourage you to transfer to our National Online Chapter where you can work towards the Steps to Induction at your own page. To do so, click here. To refund your membership fee, please visit our self-refund site. Please note that no refunds are given after the 30-day trial period. While we can only issue refunds within this policy, our team is here to provide further clarity or assistance if needed. However, exceptions cannot be given outside of the established policy. Accounts may be disabled, but refunds cannot be issued beyond the specified timeframe. 
  • Advanced and Executive Program Refund Policy: If you're enrolled in the Advanced & Executive programs, you're eligible to apply for a full refund within 30 days of registration. Please note that no refunds are given after the 30-day trial period. While we can only issue refunds within this policy, our team is here to provide further clarity or assistance if needed. However, exceptions cannot be given outside of the established policy. Accounts may be disabled, but refunds cannot be issued beyond the specified timeframe. 
  • Shop Item Refund Policy: Please note that no worn or damaged merchandise will be refunded or exchanged. Additionally, graduation items and customized items are non-refundable, as stated on our shop site at the time of order. To initiate a refund or exchange for shop items, please follow these steps: 
    • Contact us through one of the channels listed below to initiate the refund process.
    • Send the return or exchange to us at your expense at the following address and include your order number or email on a note in the package:

  • Transcript Refund Policy: Transcripts are non-refundable. Please make sure to enter all information correctly at the time of your transcript request. After your transcript request is placed, you can not make any changes without making a new transcript request.
